Paul Weber
MGM Casting Director, Producer,
Actor & Miscellaneous Crew

 

 
Paul Weber C.S.A. is presently the In-House Casting Director for MGM World Wide Television.  His Credits include “Dead Like Me” and “Jeremiah” for Showtime.  “She Spies” and the reality show “Fame” for NBC, As well as “The Initiation of Sarah” and “Cutting Edge 3” for ABC Family. 
 
Paul casted the “Star Gate SG-1” features and “Star Gate Atlantis” for the SCI-FI network.  He has completed the casting of “Species: The Beginning” and “War Games II” for MGM, as well as “Enemy Mine”, “Blithe and Virginia” and “Haunting on Sorority Row” for Lifetime.  He is in active development with the studio on new projects to include “Into the Blue II”, Bill and Ted’s Bad Ass Adventure”, “Picture This”-starring: Ashley Tisdale and “Legally Blondes”. 
 
Mr. Weber also casts 3-5 Independent features a year; “Lazarus Child” – starring: Andy Garcia, Angela Bassett and Frances O’ Connor, “Ozzie”- A family film starring: Spencer Breslin and Joan Collins.  


Paul has also Co-Produced three recent features and also, “Hollywood North” – starring Alan Bates, Matthew Modine, Jennifer Tilly and Deborah Unger.
 
Mr. Weber also conducts cold reading workshops worldwide.  His 4 hour cold reading intensives are designed for actors-10 and older.  He gives each actor a scene to prepare and will offers personal direction & guidance that will give the actor insight into the cold reading process. 

 

Paul helps the actors develop audition skills, and prepares the actors for a successful career in the industry.  He presently teaches “The Working Actor, Get The Audition and Book The Job”, at UCLA. 

 


Frederick Levy

Executive Producer /  Author

Owner of Management 101

 

Frederick Levy is the owner of Management 101, a firm that guides the careers of actors, authors, screenwriters, and directors. In addition to his day-to-day management of clients, he also develops and produces feature films and television programs. The company currently has a development deal with Nickelodeon.

Frederick is the co-creator and executive producer of DANCE ON SUNSET www.danceonsunset.com that airs on Nick. Previously, he was the executive producer of Unknown starring Jim Caviezel, Greg Kinnear, Joey Pantoliano, and Jeremy Sisto, which was released by The Weinstein Company. Frederick was also a producer on FRAILTY, starring Bill Paxton and Matthew McConaughey, for Lions Gate Films. Levy also served as the US Casting Director on BIG In AMERICA, RTL Germany’s version of the hit US TV show MAKING THE BAND.

Before founding Management 101, Levy was the Vice President of Development and Production at Marty Katz Productions.  While there, the company produced THE GREAT RAID for Miramax Films, directed by John Dahl, and starring Benjamin Bratt, THE FOUR FEATHERS for Miramax Films and Paramount Pictures, directed by Shekhar Kapur, and starring Wes Bentley and Heath Ledger, IMPOSTOR for Dimension films, directed by Gary Fleder, and starring Gary Sinise and Madeline Stowe, REINDEER GAMES, directed by John Frankenheimer, and starring Ben Affleck and Charlize Theron, James Cameron’s TITANIC for Paramount Pictures and Twentieth Century Fox, MR. WRONG staDeGeneres for Touchstone Pictures and MAN OF THE HOUSE starring Chevy Chase and Jonathan Taylor Thomas for Walt Disney Pictures. Before joining Marty Katz Productions, Frederick worked for InterMedia/FilmEquities, Inc. which financed and packaged films.

Aside from his producing chores, Levy is also the author of five books about the entertainment industry. 15 MINUTES OF FAME: BECOMING A STAR IN THE YOUTUBE REVOLUTION was published in June by Alpha Books. Other titles include: SHORT FILMS 101: HOW TO MAKE A SHORT AND LAUNCH YOUR FILMMAKING CAREER (Perigee Books, 2004), THE HOLLYWOOD WAY: A YOUNG MOVIE MOGUL’S SAVVY BUSINESS TIPS FOR SUCCESS IN ANY CAREER (St. Martin’s Press, 2002), THE ULTIMATE BOY BAND BOOK (Pocket Books, 2000), and HOLLYWOOD 101: THE FILM INDUSTRY (Renaissance, 2000), a two-time Losrring Ellen  Angeles Times Best Seller. His sixth book, ACTING IN YOUNG HOLLYWOOD: A CAREER GUIDE FOR KIDS, TEENS, AND ADULTS WHO PLAY YOUNG TOO will be published by Random House in September.

Frederick began his Hollywood career as a studio guide at Universal Studios Hollywood.  He got his start in television working as a Guest Coordinator on more than a dozen shows including LOVE CONNECTION and STUDS.  He also worked in professional radio as producer of THE MORNING MAGAZINE on KWNK, Los Angeles, and the syndicated THEN & NOW and THE CELEBRITY DJ PARTY, both of which he also created.

Levy is on the board of directors for the Tahoe-Reno International Film Festival (T-RIFF). He has served as the West Coast Director of the National Association of College Broadcasters. Frederick graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Business/Marketing.  He currently teaches film classes at the School of Cinematic Arts at his alma mater. Consistently busy with a multitude of diverse media projects, Frederick is most proud of his work with the Starlight Foundation for which he produced two celebrity charity benefits that raised money to help seriously ill children.

Levy is an avid speaker on the lecture circuit having lectured at Harvard, Yale, NYU, USC, Rutgers, and Boston University, and numerous writer seminars throughout the country. He has been a featured guest on many TV and radio talk shows including Entertainment Tonight, CNN, Fox News, MTV, VH-1, Starz!, CBS News, The G. Gordon Liddy Show, and National Enquirer TV.

 


 

 

Aaron Jackson – Actor & Producer

Aaron starred on the NBC live-action musical comedy series California Dreams.  The show followed the exploits of seven high school friends in southern California.  Together they formed a rock and roll band called “California Dreams.”  Aaron played Mark Winkle, one of the band’s lead singers.  The show aired from 1992 until 1998.
 
Prior to landing his role on California Dreams, he did a wide range of theatrical productions, including Bye-Bye Birdie, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, Tea and Sympathy, Torch Song Trilogy, Guys and Dolls, Rumors, and, the critically acclaimed, Bobby Socs It To Ya.  Aaron has recently returned to the stage, starring in Arsenic and Old Lace, Owl and the Pussycat, Mousetrap, and Harvey at the Cultural Arts Theatre.

 
Other television credits include Silk Stalkings and a pilot called Impact, a talk show for teens.
 
Film credits include Lorenzo’s Oil, From Venus, and Children of the Corn: Fields of Terror (based on the book “Children of the Corn” by Steven King.)  Other film credits include Wicked Spring, Heaven’s Neighbor, and Tangy Guacamole.  Most recently, he has finished Captain, An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge (a remake of the 1962 Academy Award winning film), The Pain Within, and Biophage.  As well as starring in these last films, Aaron was also an associate producer on them.
 
Aaron has also done a variety of national commercials, including a P.S.A. on AIDS that he received the “Ace Award” for.
 
Aaron is most proud of the work he has done helping aspiring actors break into the acting industry.  He travels the country coaching up and coming talent in the art of acting, specializing in audition prep, scene study, monologue and character breakdown, and improvisation.
 
In his off time, he speaks to students about drugs, peer pressure, and many other topics affecting them.  He also works hand-in-hand with non-profit organizations, such as D.A.R.E., Make-A-Wish, St. Jude’s Hospital, Special Olympics, the Love Ride for MDA, and the Ami Thom Foundation, just to name a few. 

 


Chad Moore 

Actor - Coach

Chad was crowned the ULTIMATE Justin Timberlake on MTV's My Own.  He co-stars in the new season of Nickelodeon's Unfabulous and the Disney Channel's New Years Rockin' Eve Party.

Chad has been seen on Nip/Tuck, Entourage, Untold Stories of the ER, and commercials for Myspace.com, Match.com, and Nestle.

 

Mr. Moore has been in Dance Spirit Magazine, Teen Vogue, and Pagentry. Chad was also the lead in the national tour of the hit musical, Ain't We Got Fun!

 

Look out for Chad playing Topher in the new season of i Carly on Nickelodeon. 


 

Ashley Sumner - Model

Ashley "Bunny" Sumner comes from a family of entertainers and models. Ashley is a third generation model, following in the footsteps of her aunt and "Grums". She has been in the modeling industry from the age of four. She'll graduate this May with a degree in Child Psychology and Political science with hopes of using her education in her real passion, helping children succeed. Ashley has traveled the world during modeling shoots and she still models today. Most of her time is dedicated to helping introduce aspiring models & talent into to the entertainment industry.

 


 

Michael Maddox
